The Settings page in your admin dashboard is where you configure everything from your store’s public identity and contact information to regional defaults and industry-specific behavior. Changes you save here affect how your store operates and how it appears to customers. Navigate to Settings in the main sidebar to get started.
Checkout settings — including delivery methods and account requirements — are documented separately. See the Checkout Settings page for full details.

Profile settings

Your store profile contains the public-facing information that customers see on your storefront and receipts.
The display name for your store. This appears across your storefront, order confirmations, and admin dashboard.
A short description of your store, shown on your storefront and in search results. Keep it under 160 characters for best results.
The email address customers can contact for help. Displayed on your storefront’s contact information.
Your store’s customer-facing phone number.
A URL pointing to your store’s logo image. Used in your storefront header and branding.
Your legal or operational address. Displayed in your storefront footer.
Your Brazilian tax registration number (optional). Include this if your store operates as a registered Brazilian business entity.
You can connect your store’s social media profiles to display them on your storefront. The following platforms are supported.

Instagram

TikTok

Facebook

YouTube

Pinterest

Enter the full URL for each social profile you want to display. Leave fields blank to hide them.

Regional settings

Regional settings define the locale your store operates in. These defaults are set during onboarding based on your chosen language, but you can update them at any time.
SettingOptionsDefault behavior
CurrencyBRL, USD, EUR, GBPSet during onboarding
Languagept (Portuguese), en (English)Set during onboarding
TimezoneStandard timezone identifiersAmerica/Sao_Paulo for Portuguese stores, UTC for English stores
Measurement systemmetric (kg, cm), imperial (lb, in)metric for Portuguese stores, imperial for English stores
If you change your language setting, consider updating your timezone and measurement system to match, as these are not automatically updated after onboarding.

Industry-specific settings

Depending on your store’s industry type, you will see additional settings tailored to your operations.

On-demand stores

The global fallback preparation time applied to orders when an individual item does not specify its own prep time. Set in minutes. The default value after onboarding is 15 minutes.
A toggle that controls whether your store is currently accepting new orders. Disable this to pause incoming orders without taking your store offline — useful during busy periods or when you need to close temporarily.

Booking stores

The number of minutes automatically reserved between back-to-back appointments. This prevents scheduling conflicts and gives staff time to prepare. The default value after onboarding is 10 minutes.
The placeholder duration assigned to new services when no specific duration has been set. The default value after onboarding is 30 minutes.

Retail stores

When enabled, product prices displayed on your storefront are treated as tax-inclusive — the tax is already built into the price shown to customers. When disabled, taxes are calculated and added at checkout. Disabled by default.

Discovery

The Discovery toggle controls whether your store appears in any Cartble discovery features, such as platform maps or store listings. When enabled (discoveryEnabled: true), your store may be surfaced to customers browsing the Cartble platform. Disable this if you prefer your store to only be reachable by direct link. This setting is found in the Location section of your Settings page, alongside your store’s address fields.

Saving your settings

After making changes in any section, click Save Changes at the top of the Settings page. All sections — profile, regional, industry-specific, and discovery — are saved together in a single update.
Unsaved changes are lost if you navigate away from the Settings page. Make sure to save before leaving.
